Into-Arts presents Zen and the Art of Block Printing with Rowan Sivyer on Saturday 8 October from 10:00-1:00 at Into Arts Studio, West Ryde (71 Ryedale Road West Ryde NSW 2114).
Come along and learn how to block print with Little Rowan Redhead! Block printing is a lovely way of creating one-of-a-kind stationery or fabrics. In this class you will design and carve your own stamps which you will then use to print some cards and gift tags.
Along the way, Rowan will share with you her materials, techniques and tips. Rowan will also bring along a whole lot of her stamps as inspiration and to use.
No prior printmaking experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Students will take home any stamps they carve as well as any stationery that they make.
Rowan is happy for older children (10+) to participate as long as there is an accompanying adult.
