A fun sewing workshop for kids to learn to machine sew and create a useful tote to take home.
Suitable for kids and teens aged 10+.
This workshop is a fun and easy way for beginners to learn the basics of sewing, an invaluable skill to have but also a super fun creative outlet.
No experience or equipment needed. Just turn up and enjoy.
We will make a gorgeous tote to take home. Kids will learn about:
- Fabric choice
- How to use a sewing machine
- What’s a seam allowance?
- How to assemble an item from scratch
The focus is on fun and making a tote to take home. We will get right into the cutting, sewing and of course sewing!
