Ryde Secondary College is a public high school with 1260 students.
The P&C has run the school canteen since October 2019, providing recess, lunch and function catering for the school.
The P&C is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to lead the profitable running of the business following the Healthy Schools Canteen rules.
Responsible for supervising and developing two other employees and occasional work experience students, you will lead by example to produce delicious, nutritious food and sustainable business.
With previous experience running a canteen or café, you will be an excellent communicator and competent cook, able to create happy customers and work unsupervised but within the P&C’s canteen subcommittee guidelines.
Hours/days are flexible, but initially should be approx. 6.5 hrs/day x 4-5 days during term time + two initial production days. The role starts 27/01/2020.
A current Working with Children Check is mandatory and Food Safety Supervisor Cert is desirable. References required.
