RWA Psychology – Family Matters, is a local, caring practice based in Beecroft providing a wide range of psychology services to children, teens, adults, couples, and families. RWA Psychology provides a supportive, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore and process issues that may be troubling them.
RWA is seeking a part-time Practice Manager to join the team. You will be providing invaluable support to the clinic director, overseeing the client relationship team, and supporting our clients. About the Role
Reporting to the Director, key responsibilities of the role will include:
Practice manager duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day administrative organisation of the practice, reception staff and clients
- Anticipate the needs of the practice ahead of time and complete tasks to ensure the smooth running of day to day operations
- Rostering of staff in conjunction with the Director
- Providing assistance to clinicians and Director as required
- Liaising with other health professionals and agencies as required
- Assisting in marketing and social media tasks as required
- Invoicing duties
- Maintenance of the office policy and procedures manual
General reception duties:
- Welcoming clients and acting as the first point of contact for all clients dealing with the practice
- Answering the phone and managing enquiries
- Booking in appointments for new and existing clients / rescheduling and managing cancellations
- Managing the schedules for practice clinicians – remaining vigilant on cancellations / notifying clinicians of changes
- Processing client payments and rebates
This is a Part-Time position (approx. 4 days per week) with attractive remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience.
About You
RWA Psychology is looking for a friendly, organised, and personable individual with a passion for people. You will have initiative, confidence, and great organisational skills to manage our reception team. You will have the ability to take on challenges, and work harmoniously in a team environment.
You will have a friendly and caring nature with an understanding of confidentiality and working in a mental health setting.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and preferably in an allied health or medical practice.
