Part-time Receptionist, Hunters Hill Medical Practice

Hunters Hill Medical Practice is a fully accredited clinic which has been providing personalised healthcare to the community for the past 150 years. We offer comprehensive general practice, specialist care and allied health services to meet our patient needs. We are the 2019 winners of the AGPAL excellence award, a tri-annual, national award from the accreditation body for General Practice!

To support our growing team, we are now seeking an experienced receptionists to:

  • Deliver quality customer service to patients, doctors and nurses
  • Greet patients, answer telephone calls, patient triage and book patient appointments
  • Process patient billing and payment collection
  • Undertake housekeeping of the reception area and clinic rooms
  • Support the day to day operations of the medical practice
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing patient records
  • Working as part of a team

You will be able to commit to the following shifts as well as having flexibility to support the team at other times:

  • Tuesday – 7.30am to 1.30pm
  • Wednesday – 7.45am to 1.45pm
  • Thursday – 7.45am to 1.45pm

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1 year medical reception experience
  • Pracsoft medical software proficiency and solid computer skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate well to patients, staff, practitioners and health care professionals
  • Exceptional multitasking, organisational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and a friendly demeanour
  • Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
  • Well-presented and punctual
  • Enjoy working in a busy and engaging work environment whilst being proactive
