Heard about the latest painted rock hide-and-seek craze? Want to join in the fun but don’t know where to start? Come along to the Parramatta Rocks! community Rock Painting Party.
It’s the easiest (and most affordable!) way to get in on the action.
All materials will be supplied for you and the kids to unleash your creativity and decorate as many rocks as you like with fun colourful pictures and positive messages. For just as small donation of $5 per family, everyone can get painting (yep, even the adults!) All ages and abilities welcome. Invite you family, friends and neighbours.
Then go out into your local area and spread the love – hide your rocks in your local park, along bushwalking tracks, in picnic grounds….even leave one of your favourites waiting at the bus stop. Who knows who’ll stumble across your handcrafted masterpiece…but whoever that may be, you can guarantee it’ll bring a smile to their face.
Go back to basic with good ol’ fashioned family fun. Get creative. Get outdoors. Teach your kids the value of random acts of kindness and giving back to their community.
We all need a little positivity in our lives….rock on!
