How can a tiny sensor help reduce Australia’s leading cause of cancer? Your host is Associate Professor Noushin Nasiri, a finalist in the 2023 Eureka Prize for Outstanding Early Career Researcher, who heads the NanoTech Laboratory at Macquarie University’s School of Engineering.  Noushin will explain how nano-sized sensors are reshaping healthcare, offering unprecedented accuracy in monitoring vital signs and facilitating personalised treatments tailored to individual needs and genetic profiles. 

 

This free talk kicks off our exciting new Discover public lecture series, free events featuring world-leading researchers from Macquarie University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, sharing their latest fascinating findings under the umbrella themes of Discover, Create and Innovate.
