Looking for a way to meet other local mums and get some fresh air? Join our weekly mum walk in Meadowbank. Its totally commitment-free, casual and fun.
Every Thursday from 11.30am.
Where: meet at Meadowbank Park* near the skate park.
*Meadowbank Park is HUGE, we will be meeting on the corner near Constitution Road and Federal Road (next to the Meadowbank Skate Park). The easiest way to find this is to search Meadowbank Toddler Playground in google maps (https://maps.app.goo.gl/z3rbW4DUHxC8W7dM6)
What: we’ll head along the path towards the river, turn left and walk along the water to Fork & Spoon Cafe to grab takeaway coffee then head back and finish up at Meadowbank Regional Playground a few steps away from where we started.
Who: Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Caregivers, Siblings – everyone is welcome!
Parking: there’s plenty of street parking, or the nearby Meadowbank Tennis Courts have heaps of free spaces.
Toilets: There’s an amenity block next to Meadowbank Regional Playground with baby change, and an accessible bathroom with a baby change table at the cafe.
What to bring: This walk is pram friendly including access to the cafe. I suggest you bring along a rug or mat (maybe even a picnic lunch or some snacks) if you’d like to sit and chat at the end in the playground. Make sure you dress weather appropriately – the walk is partly shaded, partly sunny and can be a little windy so layers to rug up are recommended.
Other: if you prefer to join the walk at the cafe, we should be at Fork and Spoon sometime around 11.50am depending on the pace!
