Come along for a fun and festive event! I am the parent of a 3 beautiful boys, one of whom has autism and attends Giant Steps in Punt Road, Gladesville.
Giant Steps is a registered charity and was founded to help educate children and families experiencing autism, to alleviate associated stress and to guide in the achievement of measurable results.
Giant Steps charges no fees and parents contribute in whatever way they can. Government funding only covers part of Giant Steps’ running costs, so the families of the children who attend Giant Steps need to raise around 3.85 million dollars each year to keep Giant Steps operating.
As one of those parents, I hold a Gingerbread Decorating Event in December, this is my second time running the event. Last year we had 80 kits decorated and this year we are looking at about 120!
