Did you know that 2.5 million Australians are still not online? As a Network Partner of Be Connected, an Australian Government initiative to encourage digital literacy in Australians, we are offering FREE computer classes and access to a digital support club at our Get Online Week event.
Where: Classes online via Zoom or at Macquarie Community College (Carlingford Campus, 263 Marsden Rd, Carlingford)
When: Tue 20 Oct, Wed 21 Oct and Fri 23 Oct, 2020
Time: 10:30am – 2:30pm (times vary across the days)
Classes include:
- Staying Connected – Communicating in a Digital World with people online using FaceTime, WhatsApp and more
- Keeping Informed in a Digital World – learn about different websites and apps that can help you stay connected to what’s happening in the digital world
- Zoom Fundamentals – Build upon your basic knowledge of Zoom and learn about other useful functions such as muting, chatting, reactions, video backgrounds and more
- Digital Support Club – have a question about getting online? Drop in to our campus and chat to our teachers. All questions welcome!
- PLUS there’s a fun online trivia event at the end of the week!
