Comedy For Kids Gala - Sydney Comedy Festival

The Sydney Comedy Festival will tickle funny bones of all ages with the smash-hit Comedy For Kids Gala at the spectacular Sydney Town Hall from 2pm on Saturday 18^th May.

The Comedy For Kids Gala brings together some of the funniest family-friendly acts from the Festival in a show of kid-tacular proportions. Now in its fourth year, the Gala has entertained thousands of children – and their parents – over the years with top-class family fun.

In previous years, the Gala has been hosted by popular children’s comedians including Harley Breen (Captain Fun Pants) and Heath Franklin (Pirate No Beard), and has featured hilarious acts across sketch, circus, musical comedy, absurdist and stand-up.

Nestled close to a reserve at the end of Malvina Street, Ryde (near to Ryde Secondary College), High Trees Early Learning is a small (40 places), family-owned and operated Centre in Ryde, offering a warm and inviting environment for children aged 2-6. High Trees isn’t just a place for learning; it’s a place for growth, creativity, and community engagement for children!

Recently reopened, the Centre has been refurbished and offers bright, open plan rooms with exceptional visibility of children and great ventilation. All equipment and furniture is brand new and set up in a carefully considered manner so that the environment is not only fresh and inviting, but caters to the needs and safety of the children.

The Centre is open Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm (closed for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year).

Fees are $130 per day, and include all meals and nappies.

This is a great opportunity to explore the Centre, meet the educators and ask any questions you may have!

Kindergym Free Trial

Do you have a little one under 5 years? Are you interested in developing their social, cognitive, and physical skills while preparing them for school? Our Kindergym programs aim to assist in healthy development and learning through play.

From May 13^th to May 26^th, we are offering one FREE trial class for our Kindergym programs!

Our Kindergym programs include:

Play Gym: Ages 12 months to 2 years.

In the Play Gym class, coaches and parents/caregivers work together in the class to support our little gymnasts. Learning and exploring through play, little gymnasts can develop their problem-solving skills, safe risk taking and fundamental movement skills.

Mini Gym: Ages 18 months to 3 years

In the Mini Gym class, coaches and parents work together in the class to support our little gymnasts to discover more about their surroundings, begin to develop fundamental movement skills, and develop coordination and motor skills.

Junior Gym: Ages 3 to 5 years

In the Junior Gym class, coaches work with their little gymnasts to develop school ready behaviours. Children learn fundamental gymnastics skills and motor movements, using all apparatus over a two-week
