Accounting Administration Assistant, St Leonards

Navwealth is a leading Integrated Financial advice organization. We are a team of specialist accounting, bookkeeping, lending and financial planning advisers. As we expand our network, we are looking for an Accounting Administration Assistant to join our team.

We work with other strategic partners to provide an integrated solution, including economists, lawyers, stockbrokers, and property advisers.

We have been active in the Australian Accounting & Financial Advice marketplace for over 30 years, with an integrated approach encompassing accounting, bookkeeping, tax planning, business consulting, financial planning, mortgage broking, and aged care.

 

About the role:

This role will primarily involve day-to-day accounting office operations.

Full-time preferable, hybrid working arrangement available post probation.

 

Key Responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Management of client records
  • Management of client queries
  • Invoicing
  • ASIC
  • Tax return and BAS lodgement
  • ATO queries including payment arrangement
  • General financial, administrative and ad-hoc tasks
  • Supporting Accountants and Bookkeepers as required

 

Skills and Personal attributes:

  • A minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role – ideally within a boutique public practice accounting firm
  • Use of XeroNow Infinity software is ideal but experience with comparable programs will suffice.
  • Have proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting jobs
  • Be a motivated team player with an innovative “can do” attitude and happy to be hands-on within the team
  • Possess high attention to detail, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and be well organised.
  • Present in a professional manner
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and be able to communicate with clients
