Tell us a bit about you and your team. What’s your day job?
I am a former Detective Sergeant of Police, with qualifications in law, health geography and resource and environmental management. I am now a legal and fraud education consultant.
What are some things you love about living in the area?
It is a wonderful place to raise a family and educate our children.
The community connections and support in our area.
The rural amenities of our local area, enhanced by the Mayor’s tree planting program and waste management strategy.
What do you believe to be the 3 main issues affecting our community?
- Infrastructure maintenance that affects mobility (footpaths; potholes etc)
- Lack of community/cultural space
- Overdevelopment
What are the 3 key things you plan to achieve?
- Maintain strong community consultation
- Sustainability measures to enhance the physical, economic, socio-cultural and health environment, particularly mental health
- Community initiatives for cultural events
What about your long term vision for the area?
The all levels of government will work together to bring education initiatives in the arts and cultural events, by partnering with state and federal education initiatives for our region with the goal of showcasing excellence in the Shire. Youth awards, education opportunities, community initiatives for cultural events, a community arts space accessible for all residents, inclusion, sustainability, and conservation are all part of the vision of our strong solid Liberal team.

My Liberal team is committed to engaging in strong community consultation. We also commit to ensuring responsible financial management, delivery and upgrading of essential services while maintaining the rural amenity of our local area.
