Moocooboola Festival 2024

When: Sunday, 13 October 2024 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Where: Boronia Park Ovals, Hunters Hill

Details: After being postponed earlier this year due to rain, the Moocooboola Festival is back on Sunday, 13 October! Join the fun with rides, entertainment, food stalls, a market bazaar, live performances, and the ever-popular dog show. Attracting up to 15,000 visitors each year, this vibrant community event is a must-see.

The festival’s name, “Moocooboola,” comes from the traditional Wallumedegal term meaning “meeting of the waters,” referring to the area where the Parramatta and Lane Cove rivers meet.

Sculpture by the Sea

The 2024 Granny Smith Festival

When: Saturday, 19 October | 9am – 8:30pm

Where: Eastwood, Ryde

Details: The beloved Granny Smith Festival returns for its 39th year! Celebrate community spirit with a full day of fun, including amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, live performances, and a dedicated youth zone. The day kicks off with the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club Street Parade at 9:30am and wraps up with a fireworks finale at 8pm. Be sure to catch the Bluey Live Experience, the Wiggles Sound System featuring DJ Dorothy, and over 200 stalls to explore!
