Crystal Seafood Restaurant

Located in Carlingford Court, Crystal Seafood Restaurant offers yum cha 7 days a week for lunch 11am-3pm. You can enjoy free 3-hour parking as they are located inside Carlingford Court Shopping Centre and you can even host events here as they have private dining rooms.

Diner 88 Top Ryde 

The newest kid on the Yum Cha block, diner 88 opened in 2024 and is located near Coles and Rashays at Top Ryde City Shopping Centre. Yum Cha is on from 11.30am-3pm with an ala carte menu for dinner.

Fortune Palace Carlingford

Not to be confused with the yum cha restaurant next on our list, Fortune Palace is located in the Carlingford Village. Unfortunately, they don’t have a website for us to link to. Google them for a phone number to book or to see food pics that other people have uploaded to places like Trip Advisor.

Fortune Place Chatswood

The other Fortune Place can be found in Chatswood. You might remember this one as the go-to destination for families when you were young – it’s an institution in Chatswood!

House of Tong

House of Tong is located inside North Ryde RSL and therefore you must be a member to enter and a dress code applies.

Opening hours:

• Monday: closed
• Tuesday to Sunday: 11am to 3pm and 5.30 to 10pm

*Please note, House of Tong is open on public holidays and closed the following day!

Noble House Chinese Restaurant

The Restaurant has a dedicated Dim Sum Team, all dishes are handmade by experienced dim sum masters who were hired from Hong Kong. Noble House is located in Eastwood so parking can be hard!

Phoenix at Rhodes Waterside

Located within Rhodes Waterside, these guys have been around for some time and are a firm favourite in our Ryde District Mums Facebook group! Groups under 6 can walk in, however bookings are accepted for groups of 6 or more. They also offer a Yum Chat banquet for $38 per person.

Royal Treasure Seafood Restaurant

A firm favourite with private dining rooms, Royal Treasure is sure to tick a lot of boxes, nestled in Burwood.

A La Carte Dinner:

• Monday to Thursday: 5.30 to 9.30pm
• Friday to Sunday: 5.30 to 10pm

On public holidays they open at 10am for Yum Cha.

The Panda Yum Cha

Located on the outskirts of Macquarie Centre you’ll find The Panda Yum Cha. They have a large open space as well as private dining rooms and you have the benefit of 3 hours free parking at Macquarie Centre. Access The Panda Yum Cha from the car park via a dedicated walkway or off Talavera Rd.
