Cost: They offer a basic, full and macaron high tea ranging from $13.50 – $38.95. They also offer a kids’ high tea called a “Teddy Bears’ Picnic” for $9.95. TOO CUTE!
Because: It can make even a dull trip to the shops special and the kids will love it!
Eden Gardens, Macquarie Park

Available: For groups of 10 or more upon request
Cost: Sparkling High tea is $59
Because: The dining room is lovely and the gardens are a must-see.
The Deckhouse, Woolwich

Available: 11pm – 3:00pm, 7 days. Bookings essential, minimum of 12 guests
Cost: Sparkling High Tea is $60 pp
Because: Great views and lovely service.
2 Gale Street, Woolwich
Available: On weekends, bookings required. Minimum 4 people
Cost: Traditional High Tea $35, Chandon High Tea $45, Veuve Clicquot High Tea $54
Because: Sipping a mimosa and eating scones on the terrace on a warm day is a WINNER.
The Watershed Kitchen, Drummoyne

Available: Everyday, minimum 15 guests. Bookings essential.
Cost: $45 -$55pp
Because: Lovely views out to Iron Cove Bay.
The Cove Dining Co, Abbotsford
378 Great North Rd Abbotsford
Available: 1 – 3pm every day, bookings essential
Cost: $35 pp including Tea, Coffee or Soft Drink
Because: Families are welcomed, and the gardens are perfect for the kids to roam.
Fairy and Frog Creperie, Concord
52 Mortlake Street, Concord
Available: on request, minimum 20 people
Cost: $55 per child and $80 per adult
Because: There’s something rather magical and fun about this place – a special treat for the kids.
Gatehouse Tea Rooms, Parramatta
Corner of Pitt & Macquarie St, Parramatta Park
Available: Daily, in two-hour sittings. Booking required
Cost: Between $44 and $79 depending on the day of the week and drink inclusions. Kids are $24-$29.
Because: The UNESCO World Heritage Listed Gatehouse was built in 1887 and is one of the oldest High Tea venues in Australia.
Lachlan’s Restaurant, Parramatta
Old Government House, Parramatta Park
Available: Any day for any number of guests for 2 hour sittings.
Cost: $54, alcohol sold separately
Because: It has history and beautiful grounds – your nan will love it!
Sugar ‘n Spice, Chatswood
Ground, Chatswood Chase
Available: Every day, minimum 2 people bookings essential
Cost: $85 for 2 people, drinks paid on consumption. Kids $20 each. Basic scones and tea are also available.
