Top Ryde Now Has It’s Very Own CoWorking Space

After going through a recent business change that meant local mum and graphic designer at Cupcake Design Studio Alison Weirick had to move offices, she began searching online for a local shared office space. She looked at a few shared offices but wanted something that had some personality and that she’d be proud to bring clients to.

As soon as she discovered the space at CoWorking Hub Top Ryde she knew it was the one – it was unique and probably as close to home as she could get aka no Lane Cove Road/Victoria Rd traffic to battle!

Currently leasing a desk in an open plan area for 4 days a week, she plans to increase that to 5 days when her daughter goes to school. “I love that I’ve got an office so close to home. I’m much better at drawing the line between work life and home life when it’s physically separate,” Alison told us.

Having a remote team, office chatter was something Alison didn’t want to give up. “Having people around me was a key requirement in looking for a space so I didn’t get cabin fever!” Alison told us she loves the style and vibe of the Coworking Hub. “The people are very friendly and easygoing. There are plenty of casual break out spaces and also room for some games. I’m not brave enough to challenge the top table tennis player just yet – but I’ll up my skills one day!”

Alison also loves having the shops (groceries, post office etc) so close, which she finds a big time-saver.
