Rydalmere Park, Rydalmere

posted in: Life, Parks & Playgrounds | 0

You will find Rydalmere Park on Park Road, off Victoria Road (across the road from Aldi). The Park is home to:

  • three soccer fields
  • a cricket pitch
  • netball court
  • basketball third-court/practice hoop
  • open space
  • a bowling club
  • amenity buildings
  • on-site car parking
  • and a playground of course!

The playground itself is fairly new, with soft fall ground, nature-inspired play equipment and plenty of park benches for adults to have a rest – should you get the chance!

Equipment includes:

  • swings – regular, bucket and baby swings
  • a slide
  • climbing frames

The park is partially fenced – there is a fence down the side that runs along the road but it is open on the other side. Unfortunately there are no shade sails at this park and the surrounding trees don’t provide much coverage. Best to visit this playground in the early morning in Summer or during the colder months.

Getting There

Rydalmere Park located on Park Road, off Victoria Road. You can get there by bus or via the Rydalmere ferry wharf. There is off street parking off Park road.
