A major plus for me is that it has a soft fall ground – parks will bark stress me out so the ground at Rydalmere Park is perfecto!
Another good thing about the park is that it has activities for varying ages and they are separated so you don’t need to worry about the little ones accidentally getting knocked over by older kids. It has a large circle swing that the kids can lay in as well as normal swings plus rope climbing amongst other activities for older kids.
There are also a few benches scattered around to sit on.. should you get the chance!
The park is partially fenced – there is a fence down the side that runs along the road where you will find plenty of street parking.
A lot of the trees around the park are appear to be fairly new so they only offer a small amount of shade to the playground and there is no shade sail. Thus, I would recommend the park for the mornings or afternoons and not in summer as the equipment could get quite hot.
