There’s a new cafe and in town and it’s ticking all the family friendly boxes – a big welcome to: The Container in Dundas Valley!

We visited this cafe on its opening day and we were welcomed by friendly staff, a gorgeous fit out and a very delicious selection of sweet and savoury items. And how could I forget – Allpress coffee.

We couldn’t resist the baked goods so ordered Nutella donuts, blueberry muffins, cinnamon Cronuts, coffees and of course babycinos. Yes we were all very pleased, no we obviously aren’t on ‘diets’.

The cafe has a lovely indoor area as well as a covered outdoor area, which is perfect for prams and kids who want a bit of space. It’s not enclosed but the adjacent road is not busy at all. There are highchairs, plenty of kid-friendly food options (although no kids’ menu as yet but we hear it’s coming in the next week or so) and a playground just across the road.

Afterwards we headed over to said playground, Dundas Park (part of the Phillip Ruddock water park), for a play and to burn off our morning tea. You can read about it here in our FREE water parks issue (but the water is switched off in the cooler weather so perfect for scooter play!)

I’m sure you agree the coffee and park play combination just cannot be beat and The Container and Dundas Park are the perfect places to do just that.
