Monash Park, Gladesville

posted in: Life, Parks & Playgrounds | 1

No doubt you’ve driven past Monash Park once or twice, it is very visible from the road so you’ve probably spotted it. We think it’s great and here’s why:

  • it’s fenced
  • it has a shade sail
  • there’s coffee close by (Barista Haus on Monash Road)

In terms of play equipment it has:

  • 3 swings
  • 2 built-in trampolines
  • a big rocking car
  • a small rocking bike
  • a cubby tower with a slide

The playground also has a table with bench seats which is great for morning tea or perhaps even a takeaway lunch from Zeus Street Greek up the road (check out our review of it here). There is a toilet, however, it is a little walk away, across the sports field. The only downside is the bark ground, but I guess we’ll survive…! ;P

Getting there

Monash Park is located off Ryde Road. Parking is along Ryde Road, or Westminster Road if you want to walk through the sports field for a bit of extra exercise!

Thanks for the park review – we haven’t been in a while so its nice to see the shade cloth now.

Btw, Parramatta Park has the same in-ground trampolines 🙂
