Livvi’s Place, Yamble Reserve, Ryde

I first visited this park when I was scouting for a birthday venue for Miss 3. The RDM brains trust suggested it and I could immediately see why – it’s a beauty!

It’s huge, so many fun things to do, and as per all the Touched by Olivia playgrounds, it has been custom designed to be an inclusive and accessible place for all people, such as those with disabilities, to play.

Do I even dare to list the equipment? There is just plain LOADS. Ok, ok a quick run-down:

  • 2 flying foxes, one is a seat with a belt, the other a button seat
  • water pump
  • swinging rope hammock
  • sand play area
  • wonky mirror
  • musical and percussion elements
  • so, so much more – check it all out here.

Story and craft time is held every Friday from 10am – 11am, compliments of Touched by Olivia, and it’s just so lovely. A must do in my humble opinion!

I didn’t end up having Miss 3’s party here as I heard rumours that to secure the prized inside tables (which are near the bbq) on a weekend, I’d need to get there at 5am. Wasn’t quite up to that.. but it gives you an insight into how popular the playground is!
