Hoskins Reserve Playground, Rhodes

posted in: Life, Parks & Playgrounds | 0

Hoskins Reserve playground in Rhodes is a great spot to stop and enjoy some fresh air while the kids play. Despite being small, it is definitely mighty and is seated amongst a mighty space to match. Kids aged 1-6 years will love exploring all the nooks and crannies it has to offer.

This playground has some really fun features including:

  • a sandpit
  • climbing frame
  • spinning pole
  • slide
  • seesaw
  • balancing log and more!

We love that the playground is covered by 2 large shade sails and that there is a water station with a bowl for dogs! Bring scooters and bikes as there’s plenty of space for little wheels.

Given there are plenty of benches and grassy spots, plus a glimpse of the river, Hoskins Reserve is probably a favourite spot for local office workers and residents for enjoying lunch outdoors.

The Reserve is now home to a Community Garden where regular gardening events are held. You can find out more information about them via this Facebook page.

Getting There

Hoskins Reserve is located between Shoreline Drive and Walker Street, Rhodes. Parking is available along both of those streets.
