Halcyon Park, Gladesville

Halcyon Park is a small-medium sized park in Gladesville (bordering on the suburb of Boronia Park) located just behind Gladesville Sporties.

The park is wedged between Halcyon Street and Rundle Parade, with a bit of a grass border from the road. As it is not fenced and the equipment is a bit more advanced, the playground probably isn’t suited to young children. Having said that, there is a baby swing, spinning balls and the little rocket bouncer! Children aged 2-7 will love the climbing elements, spiral fireman’s pole and double slide, and will be able to better manage the slide exit point which is off the ground.

The park has a really cute moon and stars/space theme, the pattern of which is on the foot paths. Said footpaths also mean we can give this park the tick of approval for pram, bike and scooter friendliness!

Overall it’s a great little park that isn’t too busy and perfect if you live close by! Check out our park rating below.
