Located along Parramatta River, George Kendall Riverside Park is one huge and impressive park. Offering much more than just a playground, this beauty is well worth a visit. Suitable for kids all the way up to 12 years old, we love this playground for its shade sails, toilets and exciting equipment.

George Kendall Riverside Park is abundant in features and facilities! Is there anything it doesn’t have?:

  • playground (details below)
  • sporting fields
  • a cricket pitch
  • basketball courts
  • multi-purpose courts
  • cycleway
  • toilets
  • dedicated car parks
  • meeting rooms
  • outdoor exercise equipment
  • BBQ and picnic facilities

The play area was designed with a ‘nature play’ theme, which compliments the surrounding green space. The playground is great fun with awesome features like:

  • spider net
  • climbing unit
  • swings
  • stepping stones
  • balancing beam.

Getting there

George Kendall Reserve is very large and has multiple entry points. The car park near the multipurpose courts can be found on Murdoch Street. There is also a carpark on Boyle Street. Other options are to park on Gregory or Broadoaks Street.
