Themed Spring into Surry Hills this year kicks off from 13 September with a series of unique activations in Ward Park, along Devonshire and surrounds. It’s bold, fun and gorgeous, celebrating founding of SHNCs the in the era of Flower Power (late 1960s/70s), SHNC’s role in connecting communities, seeding opportunities for locals and creatives to flourish. Selected contemporary artists have been working with community to overlay Devonshire Street and surrounds with a curated trail of vibrant and engaging projections, and pop up installations transforming the heart of Surry Hills into a network of inspiration and discovery for the Spring into Surry Hills initiative, running over ten days, 13 to 23 September.
On Saturday 22 September, Surry Hills Festival will culminate in a fantastic spring celebration with great live music, interactive arts, creative trail tours, markets and more.
