The City of Ryde will be commemorating the Centenary of Armistice on Sunday 11 November 2018 at 10.30 am.
2018 marks the 100 year anniversary since the guns fell silent and World War 1 was finally over. We will remember them, at a heartfelt ceremony in Memorial Park.
Please join us in commemoration of our soldiers and for the special unveiling of our new Armistice memorial this Remembrance Day.
The ceremony will be followed by a BBQ for a gold coin donation to our local scouts who will be assisting us throughout the ceremony.
Complimentary coffee will be available at the park.
All members of the community are welcome to attend.
