The North Ryde Fun Run is a community event organised by the Rotary Club of North Ryde, with venue partner Macquarie University and local community groups. It is for fun walkers and runners, not for professionals. We thank all the sponsorssupporters and volunteers who generously donate time, money, merchandise and services to make this event possible.

The proceeds go to fund research into youth mental health and treatment programs, and to other worthy Rotary projects.

It is important to care for the mental health of our young people. Between 2-5% of young people will suffer from anxiety. Young children with anxiety are 3-5 times more likely to develop teenage depression.

It costs over $30,000 per year for a PhD student to research youth mental health problems and develop appropriate solutions. A subsidised place in a Cool Kids treatment program for children costs $500. You could help fund research or a place in a treatment program for a child whose parents can’t afford it.

Register and/or donate now to this worthy cause or sponsor us.
