How do I book?

Bookings can be made and paid online via this link: https://onlineevent.com.au/event/meadowbank-public-school/meadowbank-public-school-garage-sale/ or you can pay with cash at Meadowbank Public School, please enclose $30 in an envelope marked ‘community garage sale’ and include your name, email and phone number.

What size is the space?

Each stall will be provided with a trestle table, approximately 2400mm x 700mm you are welcome to cover the table and floor under and in front of your stall with your second-hand goods.

What is the timing?

Stallholders can set up from 7.30am. The event will be open to the public from 9am – 1pm.

Who can book a stall?

Families from Meadowbank Public School and the general public are welcome to book a stall. This is a family event, children are welcome to help sell on your families stall, however, children need to be supervised at all times.

How do I get my items to my stall?

There will be no vehicle access to the school before and during the garage sale. You will need to carry all items to your stall. Parking is available in the surrounding streets.

What can I sell?

The aim of this event is to give you an opportunity to sell items that you no longer need. You can sell any new or used items such as toys, books, clothes, household items, tools or other treasures. If you are selling electrical items, you will need an electricians certificate certifying that the item is in working order. No food, drinks or confectionary may be sold on the stalls.

Where is it held?

At Meadowbank Public School, Thistle St Ryde. Tables will be set up in the hall and playground. You will be allocated a table, please report to the organisers on the day when you arrive to be directed to your table.
How much is it for a stall?
$30

What other stalls will there be?

Meadowbank Public School will be selling food and drinks by running a BBQ, cake, tea and coffee stall.

What else should I bring?

You may like to bring a folding chair to sit on. Also, make sure you bring along a money box and enough change for your customers.

Wet Weather?

Most stalls will be under cover so the event will continue in wet weather.

What do I do with my unsold items?

At the end of the event, you will need to take home any of your unsold items. There will not be rubbish bins available to dispose of your items. When you return home, we encourage you to donate your items to appropriate charities rather than send your items to landfill. Here are some ideas of where to donate items to:
