At Gladesville Occasional Child Care Centre we aim to provide a fun and safe environment for children to play, experiment and develop friendships. We are a small 20 place not for profit centre where most of our members are local families which encourages a strong community feel among the parents and children. Children can attend for as little 3 hours for per week or up to 2 full days. Permanent positions are available for half and full day bookings. Casual booking can be booked in advance or at short notice if a space available. We also operate a standby list where we will call you if a spot becomes available.
we follow the learning through play philosophy in both our outdoor and indoor spaces. There is plenty of free play along with small group time, each fully qualified educator facilitates a learning activity based on children’s interests to expand on their play as appropriate to their age group. The children enjoy stories, music and art along with a giant sandpit, climbing structures, cubby house, many ride on cars and bikes and rotating structured play experiences such as hospital, Zoo, builder and office corner.
The centre is located in Gladesville village, next to the Library. There is plenty of off street accessible parking next to the centre.
The centre is open from 8:30am untill 4pm, Monday to Friday. We are open during school holidays but closed on public holidays and for a month over the summer school holidays.
