Craving an epic adventure these school holidays? Head to the Australian Museum for a prehistoric party at the annual Dinosaur Festival. You’ll see, hear, touch, and even smell the world of dinosaurs in this interactive experience that’s a mind-boggling 75 million years in the making. Roam the gallery of skeletons, skulls, teeth, claws and fossils; watch life-sized dino puppets spring into action; discover ancient Australia while making your own dino diorama, and learn about the evolution of dinosaurs to birds in a thrilling theatre performance. Best of all, you can channel your inner Indiana Jones and become a palaeontologist for a day with our hands-on workshop. Roarsome!
Entry to the museum is free for children under 16 years. Some activities incur a charge.
