GymbaROO offers fun educational programs that have been researched for over 30 years to enhance the development of essential motor skills in children and to inform parents of the importance of early childhood development to health, learning and behaviour. The programs are led by trained teachers with specialised equipment and activities to stimulate your child’s physical, psychological and social development.
Best of all, GymbaROO is lots of fun! Children love it and parents love it! Grandparents love it too! There is nothing quite as rewarding as being actively involved in a child’s development – watch them brighten with excitement, participate with enthusiasm and help them experience the joy of learning. Children can dance, sing, climb, swing, tumble and spin their way to a healthy brain and body in readiness for later learning.
Some features of GymbaROO
- Age appropriate sessions, from 6 weeks to 5 years
• Research based programs involving both the children and their carers in a safe and fun environment
• GymbaROO trained and professionally qualified instructors
• Specialised equipment, exercise, music, dance, massage
• Weekly 45-60 minutes sessions, parent handouts and home activities.
GymbaROO will assist your child to reach their full potential. At GymbaROO you will learn lots of insights into early childhood development, and have lots of fun with this structured program that lays solid foundations for school years.
Organic, natural development is a thing of the past. “Natural development” no longer occurs in today’s modern society. Children’s key opportunity to move are now limited due to:
• Less open space to explore and move around in
• Safety/Litigation concerns
• Parks with equipment that does not spin, sway or rock
• Lack of tummy time with infants
• Children spending additional time in car seats, capsules, prams, and many baby toys that don’t allow the child to move freely
• Increased screen time – mobile phones, computers, tablets, playstations, etc
• Changes in food – more adulterated with additives and more processed
All of these hamper the development of our children.
Just ask around, GymbaROO is highly recommended by many health professionals including Paediatricians, Maternal Health Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapists, Paediatric Osteopaths and Paediatric Chiropractors.
GymbaROO is a 5 year program
The GymbaROO program is designed to assist brain development from birth through to reading and writing. It is sequential, from 6 weeks of age, right through to starting school. Occasionally parents say: ‘we have done GymbaROO’; and they have not understood that they have only completed a tiny part of the program. They have only stimulated the part of the brain that was age-appropriate at the time. It is like building a house from the foundations, and if any part of the house has gaps, there can be problems.

What people are saying:
“Karen is providing a wonderful outdoor training experience which is making exercising alot more fun. Personalized exercise routine which caters for any post injury concerns, all equipment provided and great attention to detail in ensuring I am confident when training. The location at Helene Park is very convenient and the water views and fresh air are a great bonus. I am seeing results already and it is a great way to escape at end of a busy week !” – Kat (Outdoor Group Training Client)
I have noticed a great improvement in my strength and overall fitness since I started training. Karen has worked within my limits, but gives me the motivation I need to push harder and get the most out of each session. There’s always a good variety of exercises that make me feel like I’m getting a whole body workout. Karen has always made me feel comfortable and I enjoy training with her. – Rachel (Personal Training Client)
“…I explained that I worked full time and was looking for activities that would allow me to spend quality one on one time with my 18 month old son. Karen explained the different methods of baby massage and the benefits my son and I would gain from this. Not only do I find my bond with my son stronger but he seems more relaxed and comfortable in himself… I will be recommending Thrive Together to all my friends and family.“ – Jacquie (Infant Massage Workshop Client)
“…my little boy is already 1 but Karen encouraged me to come and advised it is not too late and not just for infants. She was right! I thoroughly enjoyed learning the techniques to which i could apply to my other kids (6.5 and 4). Now that I’ve completed the sessions, i am confident and also more knowledgeable with giving my kids a massage! Highly recommend this course and Karen is fantastic…“ – Melinda (Infant Massage Workshop Client)
At My Musical Adventure, we believe that everyone is musical and in fact, everyone is born musical. It is never too early or too late to begin your musical adventure.
If you are a parent/carer – imagine a place where you and your child/ren (babies, toddlers, preschoolers, big kids/kindy aged) play, sing, giggle, cuddle and dance together to music ~ where every week, special memories are made, and powerful learning takes place to last a lifetime. This is our Kindermusik class.
If you are a student, teenager, adult or retiree, have or have no prior music experience – Imagine winding down after work with a few ballads on the piano. Imagine your child ripping through a bunch of blues songs for his friends. Imagine leading sing-alongs with your family. Imagine escaping into an improvisation, or exploring creating your own compositions. This is our Simply Music Piano program.
If you are a centre director or family day care educator – imagine having your music curriculum taken care of by a qualified music teacher, and having extra resource to use during the week with your children and connect with their families, and offering an enriched program to your families.
