First held in 1823, the Show is Australia’s largest annual ticketed event, attracting over 850,000 attendees on average. Revenue generated by it allows the RAS to invest in agricultural programs, competitions, education, youth and rural NSW. The Sydney Royal Easter Show is a celebration of Australian culture, from our rural traditions to our modern day lifestyles, providing unique experiences for everyone.
Every Easter, the country and city join together at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, for fourteen days of agricultural competitions, animal experiences, live entertainment, carnival fun, shopping and much more.

Dads & Bubs Playgroup, West Ryde

Sydney Family Easter Show, Moore Park

West Ryde Miniature Railway

The Sydney Live Steam Locomotive Society was formed in 1948 on its present site. It is located on the corner of Anthony Rd and Betts St behind West Ryde shopping centre and opens on the THIRD Saturday afternoon of each month from 1.30pm to around 4.30pm.
The Society has three miniature railways on which offer rides on trains hauled by miniature steam locomotives. The park grounds are a popular location for children’s birthday parties or small group afternoon gatherings. For the enthusiast, it is a good spot to just lie back and watch those steam trains work hard pulling heavily loaded passenger trains!
There is a kiosk which sells drinks, ice cream, cakes, chips, etc. Entry is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Rides are $2 each for all ages.

Social Tennis @ Tennis World North Ryde

Social tennis is a great way to interact with other tennis players, improve your game and meet new friends with similar interests. Social Tennis is run every Saturday Afternoon between 2pm and 4pm at Tennis World North Ryde.
If you’re a beginner, no problem. They encourage all ability levels to have a game of social tennis with the format being utilised as doubles. Equipment can be hired from the proshop if you happen not to have a racquet to participate.
Eastwood Night Markets

Shop the stalls including different products every week and a big variety of pot plants to choose from.
Children can enjoy a jumping castle and fishing games every week.
