Starting on the evening of Friday 30th November and finishing on Sunday 2nd December, the three-day Langston Weekender will celebrate Epping and welcome in the summer weather at the same time.

One time only and never to be repeated, The Langston Weekender will feature major food and beverage brands including Knafeh, Koi Dessert Bar, Pepe Saya, Brickfields Bakery, Tsuru, Burgers By Josh, Wayward Brewing Co and Grasshopper Bar, as well as community market stalls, live music, public art, kids’ entertainment and educational workshops.

This is a festival not to be missed, so come down and get a feel for life in the new Epping Town Centre !

Forgot your shopping bag? 5 for Ryde want to make sure you always have a plastic-free option. That’s why they’re coming together to upcycle old material into new Boomerang Bags. They will be donating them to local shops in the Ryde area (so people can borrow and bring back) as part of their community driven initiative to tackle plastic pollution at the grassroots level.

JOIN IN THE FUN and make new friends.

Volunteers are needed to help cut materials, pin, iron, stamp and sew. All ages welcome and no experience required.

Hobby Sew are generously providing use of their sewing machines, equipment and salvaged material… so just bring yourself.

When: The first Sunday of every month from 10am – 12.30pm

Where: HOBBY SEW Top Ryde City Shopping Centre

Carols in the Park is a free community event, held in Boronia Park, Hunters Hill on the first Sunday in December. Carols in the Park will have lots of different performances from bands, choirs and individual performers. The evening finishes with Santa and a spectacular fireworks display at 9pm.

Bring your friends and family, have a picnic and enjoy the music and sing-a-long!
