Available: Every day, 11am till 5pm

Cost: High Tea $29, Sparkling High Tea $36 or Champagne High Tea $45

Available: High tea starts at 3.30pm and must be booked over the phone

Cost: $35 per person including tea or coffee or for $45 add a glass of sparkling wine

Where: Great North Road, Abbotsford

Available: 1 – 3pm every day, bookings essential

Cost: $45 pp including Tea, Coffee or Soft Drink

Because: Families are welcomed, and the gardens are perfect for the kids to roam

The Deckhouse

Where: Clark Road, Woolwich

Available: 12pm – 3:00pm, 7 days. Bookings essential, minimum 10 guests

Cost: Sparkling High Tea (or espresso martini!) is $85 pp

Eden Gardens

Available: For groups of 10 or more upon request

Cost: Sparkling High tea is $55

Because: The newly renovated dining room is just gorgeous and the gardens are a must see

Available: Tuesday – Sunday. Bookings essential, they need 4 days notice for High Tea

Cost: Sparkling High Tea is $60. Kids High Tea is $35

Gatehouse Tea Rooms 

Where: Corner of Pitt & Macquarie St, Parramatta Park

Available: Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm, booking required

Cost: Between $39 and $79 depending on drinks. Devonshire and “Tin Lids” (kids) high tea is $19

Because: The UNESCO World Heritage Listed Gatehouse was built in 1887 and is one of the oldest High Tea venues in Australia

Lachlans Restaurant

Where: Old Government House, Parramatta Park

Available: Any day for any number of guests. Just call and book High Tea in the restaurant a day or two before

Cost: They offer a basic, full and macaron high tea ranging from $13.50 – $38.95. They also offer a kids high tea called a “Teddy Bears Picnic” for $9.95. TOO CUTE
