Gatehouse Tea Rooms 

Where: Corner of Pitt & Macquarie St, Parramatta Park

Available: Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm, booking required

Cost: Between $39 and $79 depending on drinks. Devonshire and “Tin Lids” (kids) high tea is $19

Because: The UNESCO World Heritage Listed Gatehouse was built in 1887 and is one of the oldest High Tea venues in Australia

Lachlans Restaurant

Where: Old Government House, Parramatta Park

Available: Any day for any number of guests. Just call and book High Tea in the restaurant a day or two before

Cost: They offer a basic, full and macaron high tea ranging from $13.50 – $38.95. They also offer a kids high tea called a “Teddy Bears Picnic” for $9.95. TOO CUTE
